Solid budget planning will continue to allow for upgrades to existing roads, bridges, sidewalks, piers, parks, and equipment to ensure we are equipped to better serve the community. The Township has made a difference with their multi-year funding plan, however, there is still a long way to go. Long-term sustainability is one of our main goals and as with many other municipalities across Canada, the infrastructure deficit continues to be a major issue that we must continue to address. Each year, staff prepares a game plan that takes new ideas for programs and service improvements and runs with them to produce valuable assets that benefit the community. Scugog provides programs and services to the community based on an annual Operating and Capital budget.
